Surfer Magazine is dedicated to surfing enthusiasts, fans, professionals, manufacturers and surf retailers everywhere.

Surfer had a desire to re-launch their site in order to leverage their rich repository of digital and photo media, in addition to their existing content. The resulting new site is a rich multimedia environment that showcases the full breadth of editorial content of Surfer.

Novisi developed a migration and launch plan to accommodate a seamless transition from the legacy system to the new system. As part of the launch, Surfer was transitioned to a new content distribution network. All content from their legacy content management system was migrated and transformed to the new system.

Using all open source technologies, Novisi created the proper code and templates necessary to implement the design and branding goals of Surfermag.

Throughout the project, Surfermag business owners, design, and editorial staff coordinated to ensure the fulfillment of all objectives.

Surfermag’s updated site has resulted in extensive multimedia functionality, which is now complimentary of Surfermag’s broad editorial content.
